Issue and use a PDA from your app

This guide is for your app or website to instantly issue a PDA to a user and access personalisation data stored therein.

Users will just have to provide a valid email address and a PDA will be created for them instantly. You will have access to the user’s data. Users will have the option to "claim" their PDA, if they wish, via an email they will receive.

The application or webpage needs to redirect users to the following URL:

https://hatters.dataswift.io/services/daas/signup

With the following query parameters:

"email"
"application_id"
"redirect_uri"

When successful the user will be redirected back to your application with query parameter token, the application token for that user. If signup fails at any stage of the process, the user will be redirected back to your application with query parameters error and error_reason. Learn more about handling errors.

The PDA owner will receive an email to claim the PDA within 7 days and a further email at the end of 7 days stating that the PDA will be deleted if unclaimed.

Should PDA owners claim their PDA, they will be prompted to change the password and complete the setup in accordance with Dataswift One platform guidelines.
